Share & Care Education Program
Share & Care Education program is a non-profitable venture aiming to the lower tier of the country. Number of school goer is very high in the country but unfortunately only a handful of them have the opportunity to attend the school. Although primary education is free and education for female children is free up to degree level education, number of dropout is very high due to the poverty. Below a list of enrolled children in different years in the primary school is given below:

In Bangladesh, statistics (UNDP, 2005) show that:
- 80% of primary school age children (6-10 years old) go to school.
- Only 54% are still in school by the time they reach 10 years old.
- Drop out rates from primary school were 33 percent in 2004.
In Bangladesh, among those children who are not enrolled and those who have dropped out, a significant number come from poor households and live in rural areas and urban slums. The reasons for the lack of quality in education services include lack of well-trained teachers, particularly in remote areas where the poorest and most marginalized children live. On average there are 66 students for every teacher in government primary schools (UNDP, 2005). Efficient and qualified people are not willing to join education sector because of the poor payments and in some cases poor treatment of the teachers.
Our Plan
Share & care has taken an intensive program to increase the rate of school children in the country and has made it a priority at hand. The main focused group of the project is education children at primary level therefore establish at least one primary school in every district of the country. The method of education would be modern and will incorporate extra curricular activities to make the children efficient in vocational trade so that after completing his/her education a student can be useful to the society and have enough confidence for self employment.
To materialize the program we have taken a Pilot program in Savar Dhaka to setup an education institution. As it is a pilot program the institute will enroll secondary school children who will be chosen from poor background. Gradually the project will expand to higher education sector as well.

- University – approximate acquired land 10 Bigha
The University is proposed to promote excellence in education through a system of collaboration and innovation in the continuing development of educators, curriculum, and school renewal in Bangladesh. In collaboration with other Universities, professional staff, and administrators, school personnel, and the Bangladesh Department of Education, our University will be designed to help develop educators who will work to teach individuals the knowledge, skills, values, and dispositions required to act as competent members of a democratic and pluralistic society. Our graduate should be able to play an active role in the development of the country.
Establishing another university is not our mere goal, but we want to introduce excellence in the process. We want to produce such graduates who will be able to equip themselves in best of knowledge and be an asset for the country.
We will establish the university in an area of 10 Bigha. It will include faculties from science, social science and business to shape our students in academic excellence in their respective disciplines.
Medical college – approximate acquired land 6 Bigha
Bangladesh is a small country with a population of 160 Million. It is one of the thickly populated lands of the world. The country is prone to various natural calamities. As one third of its population lives below the poverty line malnutrition is a common problem. Many people do not have access to medical treatment and many a times people have to wait for longer time to get an appointment with a doctor. In a recent survey it emerged thatBangladesh has one doctor for every 12000 people. Despite 17 Government medical college and several private medical institutions the country is still unable to produce enough doctors to meets its need. Moreover there is a lack of proper expertise in the field as well. S&CMedical College will be designed to build specialist medics. We will incorporate best technology around the world to train our medical graduate.
International School
Our future generation is our key to success. Therefore building them as a competent person to compete the growing challenges of modern world is an imperative for us. To sustain in the future world we have to raise the standard of our education system. Therefore S&C has taken initiative to establish International school where international standard education will be provided along with national curriculum. Although the project will initially target children from the family whose one or both parents live and work abroad but concern to provide their offspring better education. Many well off family also send their offspring to abroad for education. The project will also target those so that country can save its hard earned foreign currency.
